Whether I'm working on a project, pursuing a New Job Opportunities and a hobby, or just enjoying some downtime, my world is a space that reflects who I am and what I value. 
To describe myself in six words, I am ambitious, proactive in work, Making Decisions and Exercise Judgement, Proven capacity to manage and dedicated, result oriented.

Amenuveve Mawuli Dodzi Kofi ACHORIBO, African Descendent was born on the 22nd March 1974. He gain admission into college in 1994 where he pursued science at the High School call Bishop Herman College in Ghana and got graduated in 1997. In 1998 to 2002 he pursued a degree course in science and got a combined Major in Statistics and Computer Science in 2003 with the University of Ghana, Legon.

Due to financial constrained and other life circumstances he decided to continue working for the University of Ghana, Legon, After his National Service work with the African Virtual University. While there he worked as ICT staff and then facilitating the African Virtual University Distance Programme with MIT and New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Through this programme of ICT and African Virtual University, he had a chance to attend training with AFGNOG and AFRINIC and then went to UK to attend a training in New Generation ICT Programme  with Global Knowledge in London - UK. Where Global Knowledge was located at Liver Pool Street in UK.

 

In 2005 while working with the University of Ghana, he decided to pursue a certification programme in HIV/AID counselling and Care Giving organized by the joint program of Adult Education of University of Ghana and United Nation Population Fund. The Training was focus on the impact of HIV/AIDS, Strategies for behaviour change, Counseling and Care giving and the National response to HIV/AIDS.

 

This programme enable him to join the task force to implement the HIV/AIDS Seroprevalence rate Survey in Siera-Leone and also the HIV/AIDS behavioral surveillance Research Survey in Ghana. 

 

His ambition raised up and in 2006 he decided to pursue an International Executive MBA with a complementary option in Information Technology Management for a period of 2 years and got graduated in February 2009 with Paris Graduate School of Management, France which is an institution of  ''Ecole Superieur de Gestion''.

After working for the university of Ghana for a period of 10 years he decided to change career because at some point he realised that where he was may not allow him to meet his career path, then decided to continue with consultancy with UN Systems so that he could get a change to work permanently in the UN systems. 

With that zeal he landed a two consultancy with WHO. One on HIV/AIDS research work and the other on the Ebola Outbreak Response programme.

 

His Ambition to get into the UN Systems permanently did not stop even after several failures, he still keep such ambition to work in the UN System to serve in any United Nation Agencies / Entities and with their International Partners Organizations. 

In November 2020, he got a two years (November 2020 to November 2022) contract with UNFPA which is one of the UN agencies. he then went to Dakar to join the UNFPA Regional Office as Population and Research Expert on FGM, Child Marriage and Other harmful practices.

While there he conducted two major research projects : 1. WCARO Cross Border on Female Genital Mutilation and Child Marriage Research Study.
 

2. Effectiveness of Collaboration with NGOs and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) for the
Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation: Assessment of Implementation Approaches and
Lessons Learned. (Phase I & Phase II.).

He also got recognition in the contribution of the published article '' Data Analysis Work for the article titled ‘’Prevalence Rates, Trends and Disparities in Intimate Partner Violence: POWER OF DATA IN THE IPV GEO SPATIAL DASHBOARD’’.

He then went to DRC for another 1 year temporal opportunity with UNFPA as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.

His ambition for UN Systems and International Setting did not stop. He still working hard to go back to the UN System.

From December 2023 to September 2024, while waiting to join the UN System, he decided to work for 10 months with his own company he created in October 2020 before he Got an offer from UNFPA regional Office ending October. With this 10 month he plays a role of International Independent Expert and Director of IGDRS-G where he wrote and submitted the following proposals:

His spirit for the UN System outweigh his being and he decided to stand still waiting for a new offer from any UN Agencies to work till his retirement time at the age of 65 and beyond if God of Universe Permit it.

​

He is currently 50 years and he has about 15 years more to catch up with his dreams and other Ambition.

He has over 19 years of work experiences in Management, Humanitarian, Population and Development, Project/Programme Management, Programme Evaluation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Statistics, Data Management, Health Informatics, Health Information Systems, Policy & Strategy formulation, Information Technology Management and Knowledge Management.

His interest and availability in the UN Systems is not only because of his expertise, experiences, education and know-how; but because of the roles that need to be performed to enable ‘’UN System’’ to achieve its goals and mandates with the necessary prestige in the international scholarly community; Guaranteeing Leadership, Technical, Management, Research & Policy formulation by placing SDGs 2030 at the centre of all efforts. 

His open to new opportunities in the following regions: Africa, Europe, Asia, USA, Oceania, United Kingdom and the Middle East.

His Spirit to get his PhD  before the age of 65 is still alife.

In terms of Marital Status He is still Single and open to meet a Beautiful White Lady (that has both inwardly and Outwardly beauty) to create a wonderful nuclear family.

 

His genuine dedication and impactful contributions is highly recommended.
